If a person has a compromised immune system or allergies, they may want to limit contact with dog slobber. Overall, as long as the dog is healthy and well-cared for, occasional slobber and licking should not be a major concern. **

Allowing dog slobber and licking can have both positive and negative aspects. While some people may find it endearing and a sign of affection from their furry friend, others may be concerned about the potential spread of bacteria and germs through saliva. Regularly washing hands and keeping surfaces clean can help minimize any potential risks associated with allowing dogs to lick. **
